Bali has a variety of culture that entertains any person from any region. Specifically, while Bali might be one of the most liberal and gay-friendly places on this planet, you would not find more on the way as open gay lifestyle. However, there is an exception –the touristic region of Kuta/Legian. The statistics say that open gays that you may come across are generally come from neighboring islands.
Many Balinese mythological figures famous in music and dance have androgynous features and that altogether brings more chances getting many gay travelers to the island. Also, this simple acceptance by the indigenous residents means that most of the Balinese are quite mindful about the homosexuality. Nevertheless, for Balinese, marriages and the union of opposite genders is much essential and required for their active participation in rural living. That means, homosexuality is surely not a serious concern that requires any moral judgment. To one's interest, murals present in The Hall of Justice in the Taman Gili that, in a lurid manner, depict the punishments of hell for a huge range of sins from incest and zooerastia to confabbing and breaking wind –but no proscription against homosexuality has been noticed!
On the matter of gay relationship, it requires to be said that the Balinese are not particularly driven to going out and have a few drinks at a bar for being called privately. Such are people who think that you can go into fully-fledged demonic self-control at the sound of a chime, and getting drunk is not so acceptable state for them. Then again, they do not feel shy about physical relationship between people of the same sex. Many prefer that friendly encounters could get you to have a chance for better acquaintance. There are plenty of places, hotels, restaurants, tourist's places where you can find your dreamboat. You may find men with athletic body and super endurance that will never let you down. Once you have a memorable time with them, you will have the ball of the day and it may come with no surprise that you will wish to have such moments in your life again and again. Many of such tourists have become a regular visitor in Bali for the freedom they find that is otherwise so costly or impossible the region they live in.
